18 Years Later, I Still Make These 🤍

Hey Reader,

Do you ever stand in the kitchen and cut “just a sliver” of something sweet… and then go back for another?

That’s me every February with a pan of rice Krispie treats.

They were the last thing my mom made for me before she passed away. Pink and red Hershey Kisses included. Wrapped in plastic wrap. Tied with a red ribbon.

Eighteen years later, I still make them.

Not because I crave dessert.
But because I crave the ritual.

In my new blog post, I’m sharing what this tradition has taught me about grief. How it doesn’t expire. How gratitude and guilt and pride can coexist. And how small rituals can keep someone close.

If you’ve ever lost someone you love, this one might feel familiar.

All my love,

Missy

Hey Reader, What are you listening to these days? Podcasts, music, the news, books, meditations? Single speed or sped up? And more importantly… how’s all of that noise making you feel? Energized? Frustrated? Overwhelmed? Calm? Most of us hit play without pausing to think: Will listening to this help fuel me forward or be an energetic drag as I start my week? As you kick off your week - consider pausing before you hit play on your usual routine. And choose a soundtrack that aligns with how you...

Hey Reader, A couple weeks ago, I wrote about my struggle with being a slightly messy human my whole life, and I shared the full story here: I found a gap in my own coaching. Many of you wrote back saying you want to solve this too. Today, I’ll give you a quick inside look at the mindset that has driven me over the past few weeks and has led my home to stay tidier than it’s ever been. You can do this too! Yes, I’ve been implementing strategies you’ve probably heard of before, like the...
